ArtBeat End of the Season

To end this ArtBeat season we had the amazing performance of Sam Riddle. He gave us a great concert. He was just phenomenal!

We thank the vendors that participated at the event. It was a cold night but they were there having fun with all of us, as we traditionally do. We are featuring two fabulous vendors.

First, we have Holly Sewell from Sunfish Photography. Let's see what she told us ....
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a portrait and wedding photographer but I also enjoy photographing old cars and nature among other things for my own enjoyment. I am goofy and love to laugh a lot!

What do you make?
In addition to my photography I enjoy making Christmas stockings out of felt and buttons and have many other ideas in the works! My mond is always thinking of new ways to explore my creativity side.

Do you have an online shop?
Yes, I have an Etsy shop. Visit  my store at SunfishPhotography.etsy.com

Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I am a mom, so that keeps me pretty busy! I loce music and would like to make time to get back to playing. I love spending time with my family, my husband, my boys, my big dog and two crazy cats.

Where does your inspiration come from?
For my photography, old cars, vintage signs, architecture and all kind of nature. For my other creations, mostly my love of the holidays. I have always made things for myself but have started making things for other and really enjoy it.

What does handmade means to you?
Made by someone's own hands.

Who has been most influential in your crafts?
Probably my best friend. Usually if she likes what I make, I am hopeful that other will also!

Now, it's time to introduce you to Heidi Coleman - Zupancic. Do you want to know what she shared with us? I know I do!

Tell us a bit about yourself.
I'm originally from Bavaria, Germany and been in Henderson for over 19 years. I love this town since it alters the small town feel that I grew up in. I've been in the service industry over 25 years and pride myself to have great customer service, skills and experience.

What do you make?
All natural and organic jams, jellies, cookies, chocolates, breads and muffins. I create gift baskets and edible bouquets.

Do you have an online shop?

Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I have a personal and business concierge service and event planning company.

Where does your inspiration come from?
My customers that love my products and keep coming back showing me their trust and loyalty.

What does handmade mean to you?
I know where my ingredients come from and I don't have to worry about preservatives or chemicals, etc. It's a better, healthier product and is made from the heart.

Who has been most influential in your crafts?
My mother raised me that homemade and made from scratch was the only way :D

Please, don't forget to visit these two shops. Their items can make great gifts for this coming holiday season. Support handmade and small business.

Here are a few of pics of the rest of our vendors.

We hope to see you next spring!
Happy Holiday!
